Czech Embassy Children's Day Art Workshop, June 2024
Kids and parents of the Czech Community gathered at the Czech Embassy in Canberra for Children's Day where approx. 30-40 people came through and participated in learning Aboriginal art and symbol meanings.
The kids and parents were eager to learn culture through art and get involved by adding their own artistic flare to the large blank canvas (1.2x1.8m).
McMillan Shakespeare Group Staff Art Workshop, May 2024
What a great early start to Reconciliation Week 2024!
I had the pleasure of sharing my culture and knowledge through art with some very lovely staff from McMillan Shakespeare Group in their Chatswood Office in Sydney.
The group created their own individual stories and painted individual canvases to take home and created some really lovely meaningful art.
Holy Spirit College Indigenous Student Art Workshop
The Indigenous students at Holy Spirit College designed and created a large mural to be copied and printed on panels and attached to the courtyard stairs.
The students learned about symbols and created a design with a story based on the 'Land and Ocean'.
